What is an electric bike?
It is a bike that uses an electric motor to aid the cyclist, which can be on demand or can be automatic with the pedal assisted system.

Why use an electric bike?
Reduce your commuting costs
Control time yourself
Improve levels of fitness
No traffic, No parking Fees
Cleaner environment
No sweat, faster travel
Motorised Transport without the headaches (No NCT, No Tax, No Insurance)

Do I need insurance, Driving Licence or Road Tax?
According to Irish and European Law, No Licence, Insurance or Road Tax are needed to operate an electric bike that has pedal assist.

How long will the battery last?
This all depends on the weight of the cyclist and the terrain. On a reasonably flat road with pedal assist the battery should last 50-70km. Uphill cycling will obviously use more energy out of the battery.

How can I tell when the battery is running low?
All our bikes have a battery gauge on the handlebars, which indicate the level of the battery. If the battery runs low you can always pedal and use the motor for difficult parts of the journey.

How do I recharge the battery?
By simply plugging into a standard 220 Volt outlet. It takes 3-5 hours to fully recharge the battery. The lifespan of your battery will last longer if fully discharged every 30 days or so and fully recharged every 30 days.

How can I get my electric bike serviced?
Just contact us and we will arrange to service your bike at a convenient time for you.
